Growing up with pets of my own, spending summers at my Auntie’s farm, caring for injured critters and taking on pet care jobs led to my exploration of veterinary careers. I completed my Registered Veterinary Technician diploma at the Northern Institute of Technology in 1989 and have been working with animals ever since. I especially enjoy utilizing my technical skills in patient care and Dentistry. Everyday is different and I love having health care relationships with clients from puppy and kittenhood to their pets’ senior days. Coming to work at Oceanside Animal Hospital, with our great team that each bring their skills to care for our clients and their pets, is always enjoyable. 

Outside of work, I keep very busy training my own dogs in Obedience and Hunt tests as well as gardening and kayaking.
