Dr. Connie Beauchamp

I was born and raised on Vancouver Island. After years of working as an animal health technologist in Edmonton, Alberta, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a veterinarian. In 2006, I began my Bachelor of Science studies and in 2013 I graduated with distinction from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. 

Following graduation, I moved back to Vancouver Island and eventually joined the team at Oceanside in the summer of 2020. I am excited to be working within the supportive, caring , team environment at Oceanside to provide my patients with high quality, thorough and compassionate care. One of my favourite things about being a veterinarian is getting to know my patients and their people and supporting that special human-animal bond through all of life’s stages. 

Professionally, I have special interests in ophthalmology and internal medicine. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, cooking, and exploring the great outdoors with my husband Tracy and our dog, Owen.
