Veterinary Technologist

My veterinary career started with a position in the boarding kennel of a clinic. I found such passion and commitment that I was promoted to helping with the medicine aspect. I have a Bachelors degree in biology and passed the VTNE in 2008. While I am very interested in surgery, anesthesia and improving my cytology skills, I also love being able to help demystify medical jargon and connect with our clients. At Oceanside Animal Hospital, I enjoy working in an environment that allows for ample time to lessen the anxiety of clients and their pets wherever possible.

In addition to my veterinary career, I have also worked as a field hand / farm manager on several small-scale organic farms and I cook and/or bake every day!
