The British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BCSPCA)

The BCSPCA is an organization that is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Each year, this organization and its many volunteers assists more than 32,000 animals in need. They are looking for individuals who are passionate about animal welfare to join their team. Visit the BCSPCA website to find a local branch, education and adoption centre, veterinary clinic, satellite adoption centre or thrift store in your area. You can also learn more information about how you can help by volunteering or donating to this worthy cause.

Fear Free

Fear Free provides online and in-person education to veterinary professionals, the pet professional community, and owners. Our courses provide learners and pet lovers with the knowledge and tools to not only look after a pet’s physical well-being, but their emotional well being as well. We know we must feed the pet’s mind as well as the body so we make sure that in-home enrichment and Fear Free training are front and center with pet professionals and pet owners alike.
